Purposes of data processing by the controller and third parties

We process your personal data only for the purposes specified in this Data Privacy Statement. Transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those specified does not take place. We can pass on your personal data to third parties only if:

  • You have granted us your express consent to do so,
  • The processing is necessary for execution of a contract with you,
  • The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation,
  • The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests, and
  • There is no reason for an assumption that you have overriding legitimate grounds to demand non-disclosure of your data.

Erasure and blocking of personal data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data minimization. For this reason, we store your personal data only as long as necessary for the achievement of the objectives specified here, or as stipulated by the various retention periods provided for by the legislator. As soon as the respective purpose no longer persists and/or these retention periods have expired, the corresponding data will be routinely blocked or deleted in conformity with the legal regulations.

Collection of general information during the visit to our website

When you access our website, general information will be automatically collected by a cookie. This is only the type of information that cannot be traced back to you personally.

As soon as your request has been completed, the personal data will be automatically deleted.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, the web analytics service by Google Inc. (in the following referred to as: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are small text files that are stored on your computer and allow the analysis of your use of the website. Embedded YouTube videos

YouTube videos are embedded on some of our websites. The provider of the respective plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit a website with the YouTube plugin, a connection to the servers of YouTube will be established. In doing so, YouTube will be notified, which websites you are visiting. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your surfing behaviour with you personally. To prevent this from happening, log out of your YouTube account beforehand.

If you start a YouTube video, the provider will set cookies that will collect information regarding user behaviour.
If you deactivate the storage cookies for the Google Ads program, you shall not expect any of these cookies even when viewing YouTube videos. However, YouTube stores non-personal user information in other cookies as well. If you wish to prevent this, you have to block the saving of cookies in your browser.

Social plugins

We use social plugins of the providers specified below on our websites. You can recognise the plugins by means of the respective logo.

By means of these plugins, information that may also include personal data will be sent to the service provider under certain circumstances, and potentially used by them. We prevent the unintentional and undesired collection and transfer of the data to the service provider by a two-click solution. To activate the required social plugin, the respective icon has to be clicked first. The collection of information and its transmission to the service provider is triggered only after activating the plugin. We ourselves do not collect any personal data by means of social plugins or their use.

We do not have any influence on the kind of data collected by an activated plugin and the way they are used by the provider. It shall currently be assumed that a direct connection will be established to the services of the provider and at least the IP address and the device-related information will be collected and used. Is is also possible that the service provider will attempt to store cookies on the computer being used. Please consult the privacy policy of the respective service provider to find out which data exactly are collected in this context and how these are used. Note: If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can identify you as a visitor of a certain website.
